Menu for Wine, Dine & Shine 5/9/103 featuring Avignonesi at Pane e Vino!

This week’s Wine, Shine & Dine event in Cortona on Thursday, May 9th, will feature our local award winning Avignonesi winery at the Taverna Pane e Vino.

It seem that we will have a couple opportunities to taste one of the best merlots in the region, Desiderio. The 2010 Desiderio will be poured at the free tasting in front of the Molesini wine shop from 4 – 8 p.m. and a small taste of the 2005 Desiderio will be poured during the second course during the tasting dinner at Pane e Vino.

I’m also looking forward to tasting the Grifi for the first time, an IGT blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet.
